There’s little to say about Refinity.com, a gold-buying website, and that’s not meant in a good way.

What the BBB Has – Or Hasn’t – to Say
Normally, this part would be filled up about basic company info such as the date of establishment, registered business name, and perhaps its current BBB ranking. But with Refinity.com, no such data can be provided because of one single reason: it has no profile page saved in the Better Business Bureau’s online database.

That can only mean two things, and neither of it really promises a great way for you to sell your gold.

First, Refinity.com does not have a BBB profile page because it’s still new. If this is so, would you really like to entrust your valuables – which may even be your last source of funds – with a new, inexperienced company?

Second, Refinity.com has deliberately chosen not to have a profile page with BBB because they cannot risk any chance of having the authorities monitor and assess the way they do business. In other words, they may be involved with illegal or undesirable activities which could result to having their business licenses revoked.

The Questions They Don’t Answer
As you visit the website of Refinity.com, more questions instead of answers will come to your mind.

How long has the company been around?
Normally, you’d find the “About Us” section of any company website to provide comprehensive and factual information about their history. But with Refinity.com, no date has been mentioned. You’d think that if they’ve been around in the business long enough then they’d let customers know about it. Experience and stability are always nice traits for organization, after all.

No Customer Testimonials or Reviews?
For most startups, the trick to getting free publicity is by having previous or existing customers write testimonials – hopefully honest – about their products. Because you’re not that well-known yet, third party review websites may not have as much reviews written about your business. Thus, you need to ask for one from your customers.

Refinity.com doesn’t do that, and surely that makes you wonder. Don’t they have any customers they’ve pleased?
