Better Business Bureau has long been recognized as a vital and easily accessed source of company background information. Surprisingly, however, finding CashforGoldUSA.com in BBB’s directory proved to be a bit of a challenge.
One would think that CashforGoldUSA.com would register its business under the same name, but this turned out to be the wrong path. In actuality, the website is under CJ Environmental, Inc. and its sister websites include CashforSilverUsa.com and CJEnvironmental.com.
The company has only been in the business for a few years, having been established in April 2005. It lists its owner as Norm Schneider although no other personnel information had accompanied the hotline numbers and email addresses for customer concerns.
Most dismaying of all, CashforGoldUSA.com currently has a C minus rating from the Bureau. In the past three years, BBB had received twenty-eight (28) complaints involving the website. A good number of these had to do with contract issues and disagreements, delivery as well as refund and exchange concerns, and three cases of delayed action or service.
The Truth from the Public
Even its past customers have nothing fairly commendable to say about the business. In ComplaintsBoard.com, one user had denounced the company as a “scam” and cited the various issues it had with the website.
Does CashforGoldUsa.com Deserve Your Trust?
To be fair, there are a few positive things about the website such as its income-earning referral and affiliate program. Whether or not these programs would prove to be more satisfactory than its gold-buying program remains to be seen.
